about us
Born Wayne Joseph Grippin, dubbed "the Beast."  "I remember the first 45 I ever owned,
Alice Cooper <Never Cry> with the flip side <Go to Hell>.  I knew that day that I would
eat, sleep, and breath rock music.  What a rush to be rockin' out  with good friends so
many years later. "
"Cardiac Noose is a club I was born into. It's way more than a band.  We grew up in
the same neighborhood and went to the same high school.  We partied and
chased girls together and heavy ass rock n roll was the sound track to our lives.
Rippers and I started out air-guitaring to freebird on the street with tree branches,
and in high school we started our first band before we could play a note.  The
band was BlackJuju and Hawk was our musical director and teacher.  We became
the most popular band in school.  After we graduated we formed Legion. Legion
kicked major ass in Albany, so we moved to LA and formed
Lost Breed. The Breed
went on to record two albums for Hellhound and Noize Records.  Former members
include; Wino from
St. Vitus, Probot, The Hidden Hand, The Obsessed, and Spirit
Caravan. I am also a member of the
BlackJack Blades and it's good to be high on
rock-n-roll."
"My first band was  Black Juju.  We were a gang of neighborhood kids who played
originals, while the other bands in town played covers.  Black Juju broke up after
high school, but  Ike and I continued the assault with a band called Blind Legion.
We dominated our local scene.  Ike and I  moved to LA in 87 and formed Lost
Breed.  I was frustrated with band problems, so I moved back to Albany . Music
was always my  passion, and it's a pleasure to be in Cardiac Noose with my old
friends.  I love seeing my ideas come into fruition with the Noose.  I hope you dig
our songs as much as I dig writing them for you."
Born Dino Mario Anthony Ferrarese. Dino has been playing music since the age
of 8, starting out on the sax.  He learned the bass at age 12, and has been
playing in a band ever since.  In 1976 He formed a band called "The
Bicentennial Trio", that later became "The Velvet Touch".  In 1979, He started
a new band called
"Capri" which is still going strong after 28 yrs.  In 2006, as a
project with life long friends, we formed "Cardiac Noose". The CD should be
released in 2007. Dino would like to pose one question to everyone, " Have you
been noosed?"
